Currently the Managing Partner at Gavin Roth + Associates Revenue Consultants Inc. – a revenue agency that focuses on development of sponsorships and strategic partnerships, sales strategy and sales training. Clients include Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, NBA Canada, Toronto International Film Festival, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, Pfaff Auto Group, ONroute Service Centres, Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Lazarus Esports, GT20 Cricket League, Swimming Canada and Toronto Arrows Rugby Club.
Prior to running his own agency, Gavin was Chief Commercial Officer at Golf Canada where he was responsible for revenue and marketing for all Golf Canada properties, including the RBC Canadian Open and CP Women’s Open.
Gavin also served as Vice President of Multiplatform Sales at Rogers Media, where he led the cross-platform media sales strategy for Rogers.
Prior to Rogers, Gavin was Vice President, Sales at Canada’s Olympic Media Consortium (the official media rights holder for the 2010 and 2012 Olympics), where he led a team that developed and negotiated the largest integrated media partnerships in Canadian media history with brands like Bell, McDonald’s, General Motors, Visa and P&G.
Gavin has also held senior sales and marketing roles with the Canadian Football League and WWE Canada, and spent 6 years on the agency side with BBDO and Ogilvy & Mather.
Gavin enjoys giving back to the Sponsorship Marketing industry, hosting the Roth Revenue Podcast, featuring insights from the top sponsorship marketing executives in Canada. He also lends his time to the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada and the 5 to Watch Sports Business Awards program, and mentors emerging sponsorship marketing executives.
